Our mission
To love those around us enough to tell them the Good News—which is Jesus. To do it one person at a time, doing so with humor and kindness because love is forever!
Our vision
Being creative. Creating good media. Having fun with our faith. Sharing our faith with others in fun ways. And basically, loving others enough to do what we love to do!
Our Team
It’s Opa and E.B, and some volunteers too. We work out of the Palmetto Barn, a big, red, country barn transformed into a studio that is also occasionally used as an outdoor kitchen and meeting place for family and friends.
Opa had a career in the military and an encore career in workforce and career development. E.B had a career in vocational rehabilitation, and workforce and career development. Together, they raised two sons and now have six grandchildren—and great-grandchildren entering the scene too!
When Opa is not drawing cartoons and caricatures and E.B is not thrifting (finding treasures at flea markets and yard sales), they like to go on “one-day pilgrimages” to visit small towns in the Carolinas, pray in the local churches, eat at local restaurants, and draw caricatures of people and PLACES too (yes, Opa even draws cartoon caricatures of familiar places).
They have a couple of websites that share different parts of their work, including: Reach One, Palmetto Places, and Catholic Roads.
SPOILER ALERT: We’re putting some photos here so that you will know we are real people. However, as we begin our blogs, you will see lots of caricatures of us and other people because… that’s really what we do. We DRAW people… to DRAW people (get their attention)… to DRAW people (to Christ).
